Where the insurer is not Lloyds of London, all premiums must be payable directly to the insurer. Your insurance contracts are with the insurer, not CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. Where the insurance contract is placed through Lloyds of London premiums are payable to CSU for remittance.

(CSU) has always made it a priority to maintain the confidentiality of the information it receives from its clients.  This Privacy Notice explains CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU)’s policy regarding non-public, personal information that is collected by CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) in the course of placing insurance on behalf of its clients.
The firm’s Privacy Policy is as follows: 

  • CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) may disclose all or part of a client’s personal financial information as permitted by law to non-affiliated third parties solely for purposes of servicing or processing an insurance product or service that such consumer requests or authorizes, or to solicit insurance quotations on behalf of a consumer.   

  • CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard non-public, personal financial information.

  • For its own internal use only, CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) may obtain information concerning non-public, personal financial information, for example, name, address, assets, date of birth, driver license number (for automobile insurance) and information concerning policy coverage(s) and premium(s).

  • CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) may disclose all or part of a client’s personal financial information to other third party trusted advisors engaged to do business with the same client, such as CGA's, CMA's, financial advisors, attorneys or wealth managers.

(CSU) reserves the right to amend, modify or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  If changes are made to the Privacy Policy the firm will provide copies of such changes to clients as required by applicable laws. 

As the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Document Act ("PIPEDA" or the "Privacy Act") comes into effect January 1st, 2004, you can be assured that CSU will be compliant with all of its requirements. The privacy of our clients’ information has always been important to CSU, so the new Privacy Act has not required a significant change in our standards or procedures.

We gather basic information at the time of application of insurance to determine the premium and appropriate insurance coverage's, according to the risk. When a loss occurs, we may be required to collect additional information from an attending physician and family physician. The information we obtain ensures that we are able to offer the best possible assistance to the insured and their family.

Any information we collect is solely for the purposes related to determination of liability under the insurance policy. Once the information is collected, it is kept in secure storage for the period of time required by law.

If an insured would like details on the internal procedures and policies on the use and storage of their personal information, they need to let us know in writing. Upon written request, they will be provided access to their information to verify its accuracy.

Fees/Commission Disclosure

In addition to the fees and/or commissions received by CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) for the placement of insurance coverage's, in certain circumstances other parties may earn and retain usual and customary commissions for their role in providing insurance products or services under their separate contracts with insurers and/or reinsurers.  Additionally the firm may receive contingent payments or allowances from some insurers based on factors which are not client-specific, such as aggregate loss experience, size or performance of an overall book of business produced with the insurer.  CSU Financial Management Consulting Group Inc. (CSU) may, at their discretion pay third party sources for referrals where regulations may allow.
